Andreas Riedl from Atlas to moderate the 8th Conference on Weathering of Plastics and Coatings in the Automotive Industry

Linsengericht, January 12, 2007 - On February 7 - 8, 2007 the SKZ (Süddeutsches Kunststoffzentrum) is hosting their 8th Conference on Weathering of Plastics and Coatings in the Automotive Industry.

OEMs, automotive suppliers and experts for material testing technology will meet in Würzburg/Germany and share information regarding state of the art technology and improvements, polymer materials as well as analytical and simulative applications. Furthermore new test methods for materials and components for inner and outer use in vehicles will be introduced and examples for effective applications will be given.

Weathering experts of Atlas Material Testing Technology will share their experience and give lectures regarding:
"Outdoor Weathering and new ways of accelerated Weathering using Natural Sunlight" (Siegfried Rößner)
"Perfidies of Weathering - Mysteries or explainable phenomena" (Dr. Artur Schönlein)
"Computer Aided Weathering 'CAW' - The journey is the reward" (Burkhard Severon)
