Test method development

Atlas Weathering Technology Consultants will work with you to develop a tailored test method or adapt an existing method to your needs. You may require a tailored method for different reasons: a recent product failure, new materials, no appropriate existing method - or you may want to achieve a better competitive edge. First, we will analyze the failure mechanism of your material or product in real-world conditions. We will then review existing test standards on similar applications and define the real end-use weathering parameters. Atlas Weathering Technology Consultants will work with you to develop a program to design a customized test method based on failure mechanism, end-use conditions, as well as the equipment and resources that are available. Finally, we will develop a program to determine how end-use or outdoor exposure correlates with the tailored laboratory test method.
